Yasokichi Tokuda
The "Tokuda Yasokichi" lineage spans four generations, renowned for innovating "Kutani ware" while preserving its traditional essence. The third-generation Tokuda Yasokichi III (1933–2009) was a Living National Treasure, celebrated for his mastery of "Saiyu" (vivid colour glazing). Each generation has continued to push the boundaries of "Kutani" ceramics, blending tradition with contemporary aesthetics to create unique and refined works.
