Suiseki Ohashi was a Japanese Nihonga painter renowned for his depictions of tigers. Active from the mid-Meiji to early Shōwa period, he gained international recognition, becoming the only Japanese artist to be awarded a gold medal at the Exposition Universelle in Paris.
