Riusuke Fukahori
Born in 1973 in Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture, he graduated in 1995 from Aichi Prefectural University of Fine Arts and Music, specializing in Media Design. Fascinated by goldfish, Fukahori has dedicated his artistic career to capturing their beauty. Using a distinctive technique known as "2.5D painting," he meticulously layers acrylic paint onto transparent resin, creating an extraordinary sense of depth and realism. His works give the illusion of real water, with lifelike goldfish appearing to swim within it, leaving viewers mesmerised by their striking authenticity.
