Kiyoshi Yamashita was a Japanese artist known for his wanderlust and exceptional visual memory. Travelling across Japan, he captured the landscapes he encountered in stunning "chigiri-e" (paper collage) works, including famous pieces like "Fireworks" and "Sakurajima". Particularly fond of fireworks, Yamashita would journey across the country to witness festivals, later recreating the vibrant scenes with remarkable precision.
