Hazan Itaya

Hazān Itaya was a pioneering Japanese ceramic artist who played a crucial role in elevating pottery from craft to fine art. Active from the prewar period to the mid-Shōwa era, he is regarded as one of the key figures in modern Japanese ceramics, alongside Kitaōji Rosanjin.
