Andy Warhol
Andy Warhol was a pioneering Pop Art artist known for his silkscreen works featuring Campbell’s Soup cans and Marilyn Monroe. Born in Pittsburgh, he studied commercial art at Carnegie Institute of Technology and began his career in New York as an illustrator. Warhol’s studio, "The Factory," became a hub for creative collaborations. Beyond painting, he produced "The Velvet Underground", made experimental films, and founded Interview magazine. His portrait works included icons like Mao Zedong and John Lennon. Until his death in 1987, Warhol redefined art by blending commercial imagery with fine art.
