Inherited Forms: Yuki Koyano and the Circle of Time
Takato Kano Gallery is pleased to present “Inherited Forms: Yuki Koyano and the Circle of Time,” a solo exhibition by the emerging Japanese painter Yuki Koyano.
This exhibition centres on Koyano’s representative works, which seamlessly fuse traditional Nihonga techniques with a contemporary sensibility. Through symbolic motifs such as the double helix structure and densely layered figures called “Gunzo-zu,” Koyano re-examines the transmission of “form” and “time” across generations.
We invite you to experience a serene space where inherited aesthetics and new expressions for the future quietly intersect.
Exhibition Period: May 23 – June 27, 2025
Venue: Takato Kano Gallery, Nagoya Headquarters 10F
