Takato Kano Gallery + Iskra is honored to participate in Abu Dhabi Art 2025, taking place in Manarat Al Saadiyat from 19 to 23 November 2025. We’ll be presenting “Beauty Throughout the Centuries: The Timeless Creativity of Japanese Female Artists.” This exhibition celebrates five pioneering Japanese women artists—Shoen Uemura (1875–1949), Yuki Ogura (1895–2000), Tamako Kataoka (1905–2008), Toko Shinoda (1913–2021), and Yayoi Kusama (b. 1929)—whose creative journeys span from the 19th to the 21st century, embodying the enduring elegance, innovation, and cultural depth of Japanese art.
